The Cyprus Fiduciary Association organized two (2) full-day seminars on the Role and Liabilities of Directors which were co-sponsored by Patrikios Pavlou & Associates LLC. The seminars took place at Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia on March, 6 and at St. Raphael Hotel in Limassol on March 9 and were hailed with great success.

Stavros Pavlou, Senior & Managing Partner of our firm was the main speaker, focusing on The Regulatory Framework of Directors’ Duties and Liabilities. He also presented three sections of detailed case studies, sharing his knowledge and experience and providing the participants with practical solutions to the problems examined.

The seminar was attended by more than 130 professionals, administrative services providers, accounting, audit and tax firms, law firms and trust services. The aim of the seminars was to inform participants on the regulatory framework covering the Directors’ duties and responsibilities and to provide an overview with respect to directors’ and officers’ insurance. Practical guidance was also provided through the examination of case studies, in relation to various circumstances faced by Directors.

Among the case study panellists was Stella Strati, Senior Associate of our firm. All attendees had the chance to participate in panel discussions, raising questions and stimulating extensive debate.
