Acquiring a Cyprus citizenship and residence permit appears to be high in the preferences of investors. According to the Global Rank Power 2018 (Passport Index), in the category of securingcitizenship through investments, Cyprus occupies second place, following Malta.
Global Rank Power 2018 (Passport Index), is compiled by the global financial advisory firm Arton. It specializes in investment programs for residence permits and citizenship, where Cyprus is ranked among the top 193 countries. Cyprus is also placed at 14th place in the Cyprus Securities Licensing List.
The Cypriot passport offers access to 150 countries without the need for an entry permit. Moreover, a Cypriot passport holder can obtain a visa upon arrival in at least 30 countries.
