The Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and Invest Cyprus organized the CIFA WORKSHOP SERIES 4 which took place on 7 October 2021. It was another succesful workshop, with over 100 participants.
The Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) will provide immediate financial support to the country in the wake of the covid-19 crisis. The Cyprus RRF has been approved and includes reforms and investments for 2021-2023, with a horizon of implementation by 2026. The RRF targets to effectively address the challenges identified in the Country Specific Recommendations for the years 2019 and 2020 and in the national strategies, emphasizing the green and digital transition. During the workshop, technocrats and experts analyzed various aspects of the RRF and how it will lead the country’s economy on a sustainable path.The RRF was developed by Theodosis A. Tsiolas, Permanent Secretary, Directorate General for European Programmes, Coordination and Development and Irene Piki, Economic Director, Ministry of Finance.
Philippa Kelly, Director of Financial Services, ICAEW explained the Role of Financial Services in a Resilient and Sustainable Economy.
