The Economist 20th Annual Cyprus Summit

21 November 2024 - 22 November 2024

Hilton Nicosia

The Economist Impact and Hazlis & Rivas, have great pleasure in announcing the organization of the 20th Annual Cyprus Summit, entitled “Revealing the nexus between volatility and determination”.

This year’s event is being organized against the setting of the geopolitical upheaval that challenges the eastern Mediterranean region. At the same time, the new EU mandate as well as the outcome of the US elections, will be shaping the new global balance. However, the Southeast European region’s strategic importance remains strong as does the dynamics for cooperation. The partnerships that have been forged in the region are of particular significance for Europe’s energy security and cohesion, while Cyprus remains one of the few stable democracies in the eastern Mediterranean. Its small but extrovert economy is currently growing above the EU average. The country aspires to emerge as an energy and technology hub and to attract more innovative investments.

Within this context, high-ranking officials and prominent personalities from politics, business, academia, the financial sector, and the European and international institutions have been invited to brainstorm, openly debate and put forward new proposals on the issues that the roundtable will be addressing.

Grasp the opportunity and join us on November 21st-22nd 2024 in Nicosia.
