Through its representation of ten member banks that hold more than 95% market share, the Association of Cyprus Banks (ACB) is the voice of the local banking system. Its primary target is to promote best practices for the interest of the banking sector and the local economy.

The ACB is a non-profit organization through which common positions are formulated and promoted on banking and financial issues when local legislative and governmental policies are determined. Through its more than 55 years of operations, the ACB has gained the reputation of a prudent, reliable and consistent partner for various policy makers, organizations, media, institutions and the local society.
