The Financial Times and BBC say that that the 78 year-old investor is very likely to assume some significant government post, potentially as Secretary of Commerce.
He told CNBC earlier this year that he was supporting Donald Trump because America needs “a more radical, new approach to government.” However, he downplayed some of Trump’s promises made on the campaign trail, suggesting instead that they be viewed as “symbolic, more as metaphors.”
