Vaccine points continue to cater exclusively to children

The health ministry on Friday reminded the public that certain vaccination centres operate only for children aged 5 to 11 for specific hours following an appointment.

For Friday, the vaccination centre at Limassol’s Spyros Kyprianou sports centre (point A), will cater only for children aged 5 to 11 from 8am to 2pm.

On January 15, a vaccination centre will operate at the office of the commissioner for the development of mountain communities in Trimiklini at the same times on a walk-in basis.

Moreover, the following vaccination centres will also continue administering vaccines for children belonging to the specific age group from 8am to 2pm following an appointment:

Nicosia: State fair point A and Motherhood Centre at Latsia health centre (increase in number of appointments).

Limassol: Spyros Kyprianou sports centre (point A) and Motherhood Centre at old hospital (increase in number of appointments).

Larnaca: Motherhood Centre at old hospital (increase in number of appointments).

Famagusta: Motherhood Centre at Famagusta hospital (increase in number of appointments).

Paphos: Motherhood Centre at Paphos General hospital (increase in number of appointments).

The ministry reminded that the consent form of parents or guardians is required for the vaccination of minors as well as the birth certificate or ID of the children.
