The number of unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of July 2015, reached 42,176.

Based on the seasonally adjusted data, which shows the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for July 2015 decreased to 43,060 persons in comparison to 43,307 the previous month.

In comparison with July 2014, a decrease of 4,551 persons or 9.7% was recorded which was mainly observed in the sectors of construction which showed a decrease of 1,265, trade 943, manufacturing 863, financial and insurance activities 755, education 381, newcomers to the labour market, 541.

During the same period there was also an increase in registered unemployment in the sectors of public administration by 223, transportation 219 and accommodation and food service activities 163.
