Twin towers set to overlook new Ayia Napa marina

The skyline of Ayia Napa is set to change forever, with two huge skyscrapers earmarked for construction – providing luxury apartments, a hotel and suites.

The developments – which will tower to 26 floors - will be part of the Ayia Napa marina project in the Makronissos area.

Contracts for the construction of the project are expected to be signed in the coming weeks, according to mayor Yiannis Karousos.

According to the press, the foundation stone of the development will be laid in September 2016.

The marina will be able to berth 600 vessels with a length of up to 60 metres.

The construction of the marina is expected to last about three years.
