TUS Airways launches new flights

Larnaca-based airline TUS will start twice-weekly flights to two destinations in Greece – Alexandroupoli and Araxos airport in Patra – from March 27, 2018.

The new flights will leave from Larnaca on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

TUS Airways already said earlier in December 2017, it would begin direct flights from Larnaca to Rome and Athens, as well as launch, on February 16, of a new direct flight from Larnaca to the capital of Epirus, Ioannina.

The flights will on two recently-purchased Fokker jets. TUS’ fleet which already includes two Fokker 100 and two Fokker 70 jets.

According to the airline, the Dutch-manufactured jets offer travellers maximum comfort and spacious leg room while allowing fast boarding of flights.

“They are highly regarded as efficient, reliable and fast aircrafts, and aside from TUS Airways, it is an aircraft of choice and indispensable part of the fleet of prestigious airlines,” the company stated.

The airline aims to connect Cyprus and Greece with countries in the Eastern Mediterranean as well as Europe via frequent flights, offering best comfort, convenience, competitive pricing and excellent service on board.
TUS plans to operate flights to 16 destinations in 2018.
