The Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage for the third quarter of 2016 recorded an increase of 2.7% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2015, announced the Statistical Service of Cyprus recently.
By economic activity, an increase of 14.2% was recorded in land transport, 9.3% in postal and courier activities and 1.6% in warehousing and support activities for transportation, whereas a decrease of 18.1% was observed in water transport over the corresponding quarter of 2015.
The Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage for the period January-September 2016 recorded an increase of 1.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2015.
