Trade deficit shows increase in Q1 2017

The trade deficit in Cyprus in the first three months of the year increased compared to the corresponding period in 2016, reaching €1.267,1mn in January-March 2017 compared to €497,1mn last year.

According to data published in the new monthly electronic publication ‘Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (by commodity and country)’ for January-March 2017, of the Statistical Service of Cyprus, total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from EU countries) in January -March 2017 amounted to €1 .267,1mn.
