Trade deficit down in Jan-Nov 2015

Trade deficit was €3,077.6 million in January-November 2015 compared to €3,423.4 million in the corresponding period of 2014, according to publication 'Intra-Extra E.U Trade Statistics (Summarised Data)' for November 2015, by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) in January-November 2015 amounted to €4,668.3mn as compared to €4,756.9mn in January-November 2014. Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States) in January-November 2015 were €1,590.7mn compared to €1.333,5mn in January-November 2014.

During November 2015 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) valued at €429.1mn.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States), including stores and provisions, in November 2015 amounted to €131.3mn. Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were €75,4mn whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, were €55,9mn.
