The number of tourists from Britain visiting Cyprus is increasing, according to the British High Commissioner Matthew Kidd.
Kidd made the announcement whilst hosting a reception for the Cyprus Safer Tourism Platform, at his residence in Nicosia.
According to an announcement by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, the platform was established in 2015 by the organization, in close cooperation with the British High Commission, now numbering over 40 partners.
Kidd referred to increasing numbers of tourists visiting the island this year, as well as to the importance of safety for tourists.
