On a monthly basis, tourist arrivals were up by a staggering 92.23% in March.

Tourist arrivals were up from the United Kingdom (from 30,368 in March 2014 to 41,149 in March 2015). There was also an increase of 50% in tourist arrivals from Greece (up to 10,557 from 7,038) and an increase of 14.6% from Germany (up from 6,496 to 7,443 this year).

Tourist arrivals from Russia were down by 3.4% compared to March of the previous year.

For the period of January – March 2015 tourist arrivals came to 189,988 compared to 163,436 in the corresponding period of 2014, recording an increase of 16.2%.
