A third new airline in Cyprus is preparing to take off in2016, in the footsteps of Cobalt and TUS Airways.
Local company ‘Orion Air’ says it aims to ‘set very high standards’ in the local aviation industry.
The airline hopes to begin flights to the UK and Greece from December this year, according to the In Business website.
Other destinations are expected to follow soon afterwards.
The airline is expected to begin operations with three 737-800s, and increase the fleet to seven aircraft by the end of 2017.
Last month Cobalt Airways began scheduled services from Larnaca to Greece, the UK and Ireland.
