SmartWings set to link Larnaca with Prague

Low cost Czech airlineSmartWings has announced that it will begin two flights every week between Larnaca and Prague in the summer of 2017.

The flights are scheduled to be operated on Monday and Thursday as of May 29.

Four years ago, Czech Airlines, that had previously carried out flights between Prague and Larnaca, agreed with SmartWings on a code-sharing cooperation that will see its OK code on the flights to the island.

Orthodoxou Aviation has been selected to be the General Sales Agency in Cyprus.

“With this new cooperation, SmartWings aims to develop and increase passenger volume [to and] from Cyprus,” read an announcement by Orthodoxou Aviation.

The fleet of Travel Service is based mainly on the Boeing 737 Next Generation.
