The Cyprus Statistical Service reports that the total sales of petroleum products in July 2016 recorded an increase of 3.1% compared to the previous month.
A rise was observed in the sales of Asphalt, Heavy Fuel Oil and Motor Gasoline. On the contrary, a decline was recorded in the sales of Kerosene, Gasoil, Liquefied Petroleum Gases and in the provisions of Gasoil for Marine use and Aviation Kerosene. The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a fall of 11.9% compared to the previous month.
During the period January – July 2016, the total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 8.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
