The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property of the Republic of Cyprus (DRCIP), represented by Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry HE Natasa Pilides, supported by the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, HE Kyriakos Kokkinos, have finalised the signature of the Government Contract providing for the development and installation of an Integrated Registry Management Platform (IRMP) to digitally transform the DRCIP – a €14million project awarded to prominent IT company, NetU Consultants.
Once implemented, the IRMP will provide a holistic electronic service for all DRCIP-related applications, effectively eliminating the need for physical presence for document submission.
The IRMP project constitutes part of the Government’s broader goal of complete modernisation and digital trnaformation, which revolves around e-governance and focuses on the threefold goal of speed-security-efficiency.
HE Natasa Pilides, in a Press Conference highlighted the importance of implementing the DRCIP’s technological advancement and modernisation, and the IRMP project is of strategic importance towards this endeavour, because of its potential to boost Cyprus’ competitiveness as an international business centre, providing superior quality services for companies and other legal entities.
