He then wished every success to the Olympic team of Cyprus at the forthcoming Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

As for President of the Cyprus National Olympic Committee, Ouranios Ioannides, he said: “RCB Bank is a major player in the Banking and Finance domain in Cyprus and through this alliance we strongly believe that both parties will come out winners.

“Both the Cyprus NOC and RCB Bank have common goals and vision in sports, culture and education and we believe that with joined forces both ‘teams’ will benefit tremendously.”

Ioannides also expressed hope that this was the start of a long term relationship based on the wellbeing and progress of Cyprus Sport and local athletes.

“RCB Bank’s support is invaluable to our NOC and our Olympic team in their preparation for the Rio Olympics and hopefully we will have something to celebrate all together in August,” he said.
