The number of real property transactions rose 10% in January 2015 compared to a year ago, the department of lands and surveys said recently.
The increase was on an annual 19% and 73% rise in transactions in Limassol and Larnaca districts to 95 and 90 respectively, the department said in a statement on its website today.
In Nicosia, Paphos and Famagusta districts, property transactions in the first month of 2015 fell 8%, 20% and 11% to 46, 74 and 16 respectively compared to January last year, the department said.
