He was addressing the opening of ‘Regus’ business centre in Limassol.
“The business environment changes on a daily basis, at a pace we couldn’t even imagine in the recent past,” he said in his address, pointing out that in this context Cyprus had a duty to monitor and to adopt modern and effective business practices.
“We must draw attention to clever ideas which offer solutions and improve businesses productivity, especially those which are at an early stage of development,” he noted.
“Intelligent proposals, such as the one we are inaugurating today, are those contributing the most in shaping a more effective economic environment”.
Anastasiades said that “developments in the Cypriot economy were at a crucial point and that they were marking a turning point for the country from the brink of destruction three years ago to the creation of a dynamic, propelling us safely forward”.
