“The President will firstly brief on the state of play of the Cyprus problem and how it (UN-brokered peace process) can move forward,” Nicos Christodoulides said.
“Secondly, his contacts will focus on the economy and thirdly the President will focus on Cyprus’ energy policy issues.”
Christodoulides also said that with the exit of Cyprus from the international bailout programme in March, the President’s meeting with the chairman of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development is very important. And so are a number of other meetings with prospective investors in Cyprus.
In addition, the President will focus on pushing forward the energy development policy of Cyprus through his meetings with the CEOs of oil and gas giants ENI and TOTAL.
