Presentations at the forum referred to the benefits offered by Cyprus’ tax and legal system for foreign investors, to the establishment of Cypriot businesses and to Cyprus an international business centre. During the forum an invitation was extended to the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic for Czech businessmen to visit Cyprus and continue contacts.
A press release issued by the CCCI said the Forum was successful and provided the opportunity to more than 50 Czech businessmen to get informed about the opportunities for investment in Cyprus as well as for cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. CCCI said it will continue in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism and with the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agent to take action with a view to attract foreign investments in Cyprus. In this framework, a business forum will take place in Qatar in January, on the occasion of the official visit of Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades there.
