In statements, Paphos Chamber President Andreas Demetriades said: “With the signing of these agreements, we are creating the foundations to assist business cooperation in the sectors of tourism, commerce, industry, the exchange of business visits to exhibitions, and more.”
He said the cooperations were part of the Paphos Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to improve the economy by taking initiatives.
The Ukraine’s Honorary Consul Yiannakis Aristodemou, also the vice-chairman of Paphos’ Chamber, said the agreements would also help bring the peoples of Cyprus and the Ukraine in more regular contact.
The chairman of the Ukraine’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Chyzhykov, noted the agreements had taken Cyprus-Ukraine relations to another level, including through the opening of his offices in Paphos.
