Paphos' properties most popular among foreign buyers

The western coastal town of Paphos holds the lead in sales to foreign buyers for the fifth consecutive month in 2014, based on the deeds submitted to the Land Registry for this period, representing 36% of sales.

Limassol follows with 24%, Larnaca 15%, Nicosia 13% and Famagusta 12%.

Paphos’ beautiful surroundings along with its unparalleled natural environment, its climate featuring mild winters and cool summers and the area’s quality of life, keeps attracting foreign buyers and investors.

Evidently, the town maintains the lead as the first destination for property sales and investments, as well as the preference for permanent residency by foreign buyers.

Chief Marketing Officer of the Leptos Group Sakis Hadjialexandrou said that “the sales and the development of land and properties in Paphos mirror the district’s wider economic advance”.

“Paphos covers a broad variety of properties responding to multiple needs for ownership occupancy, investment and holiday homes for every taste and budget,” Hadjialexandrou said.

He also highlighted the significant and continuing efforts made by the land development and building construction sector in Paphos that aim to attract buyers and investors from existing, but also new markets.
