Oman interested in investments in Cyprus

Oman is interested in investments in Cyprus, especially in the field of natural gas, Minister of Petrol and Natural Gas of Oman has said, after a meeting with Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis in Muscat.

The Cypriot Minister held a series of meetings in Oman with Minister of Oman for Petrol and Natural Gas Mohammed bin Hamad bin Seif Al Rumhi, Tourism Minister Ahmed bin Nasser bin Hamad al Mehrizi and Commerce and Industry Minister Ali bin Masoud bin Ali Al Sunaidy.

During his meeting with the Minister of Petrol, Lakkotrypis referred to the latest developments as regards Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and discussed ways of cooperation between the two states in the field of Renewable Energy Sources and Natural Gas.
