Consumer prices rose in October 2017 by 0.1% compared to the respective month of 2016 as cheaper manufactured products offset the impact of less affordable energy products, agricultural produce and services, the statistical service said.
Fuel prices rose last month an annual 3.8% while electricity prices rose 1.8%, Cystat said on Thursday. Produce prices rose 2.7% while those of services rose 0.6%. Prices for manufactured goods dropped 1.4%.
In January to October, consumer prices rose 0.7% compared to the respective ten-month period last year, Cystat said.
Consumer prices an annual 0.4% in September and 1.2% in October 2016.
