Consumer prices dropped an annual 2.5% in October 2015, as the deflation rate remained unchanged as in September, the statistical service said.
The drop in the consumer price index was mainly on reduced prices for housing, electricity, water and liquefied gas and petrol prices which fell in October 11 and 5.9% compared to a year before respectively, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Thursday. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco as well as clothing and footwear became in October 1.9% and 0.6% respectively more expensive compared to a year before.
In January to October, inflation rate was 2.2%, Cystat said. In October 2014, consumer prices dropped 0.5% compared to a year before.
