KEA will focus on five principles: reinforcement of entrepreneurial action, through indicating new sources of funding and establishing an innovation academy that will aim at recognising entrepreneurial potential and innovation, as well as enhancing competitiveness.
Secondly, it will establish a youth entrepreneurship academy, to help individuals 21-35 years old who aspire to create and develop their own companies.
Along with youth, KEA will also focus on female entrepreneurship by educating and training women entrepreneurs.
KEA’s fourth pillar is a VIP Club business success, alternative form of modern business networking which offers opportunities for profitable collaborations and synergies.
The final pillar is the ‘Aristeaus’ plan/job connection hub, an initiative that promotes long-term professional integration mainly concerning young people, women and recent university graduates, through the provision of short-term ‘smart’ training.
KEA is a collaboration of the business sector, the academic community and the public sector. Its strategic partners are the University of Nicosia, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the programme Epiheirein Drasi, as well as the confederation Business Angels Europe, a trade confederation aiming at providing capital for start-up companies.
