Neopolis university to collaborate with European higher education institutions

Neapolis University Paphos became a full member of the European University Association (EUA) from October.

The collaboration “confirms the quality characteristics of operation and provision of the academic work of Neapolis University Paphos and will contribute to the strengthening of its developmental course,” the Rector of Neapolis University Professor Pantelis Sklias said on the university’s acceptance and inclusion with the network of the European Universities Association.

He added that this will create important synergies and interaction through joint projects, actions and other mutual educational activities with excellent European Universities of the common European higher education area.

“It will also contribute to the further assurance of academic excellence, the production of innovative applied knowledge and the implementation of best practices of extroversion and equal participation of the University in the international institutional networks of Higher Education as strategic axes of operation and developmental prospect of Neapolis University Paphos,” Sklias said.

The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 800 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries. it plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation.

Through continuous interaction with a range of other European and international organisations, EUA ensures that the independent voice of European universities is heard. The Association also provides members with unique opportunities to shape European policies and initiatives affecting higher education and research.
