Ninety civil marriages will be held on June 20, 2014 for tourists at the medieval castle in Larnaca, the municipality announced recently.
The mass ceremony is being organised by the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company and Natan Uretsky, an Israeli tour operator.
This will be the fourth consecutive mass wedding event for the town.
The couples will be mostly Israeli and Russian. They will arrive at Larnaca aboard a cruise ship from Haifa where they will be greeted by girls in traditional dress who will deliver the wedding bouquets to the brides to be.
Then the couples and their guests will move over to the Medieval Castle for the ceremony.
