Bus and taxi drivers must be vaccinated or have a 72-hour negative test to work, Transport Minister Yiannis Karousos said in new guidelines for the public transport sector issued on Wednesday.
In a written statement citing the decree to contain the coronavirus outbreak, Karousos said that bus and taxi drivers must, while working, be in possession of either a valid certificate that they have completed their vaccination for Covid-19 at least 14 days earlier, or proof that they have recovered from the virus within the past six months or a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result not older than 72 hours.
