Major decline in the construction material’s index

The price index of construction materials for October 2015 declined to the lowest level since December 2010 according to figures released by the Cyprus Statistical Service recently.

The Price Index of Construction Materials for October marked a reduction of 3.3% compared to October 2014.

Compared with September the index reached 101.32 units marking a reduction of 0.38%, declining to the lowers level since December 2010 when it reached 100.72 units.

For the period between January and October 2015 the index declined by 2.46% compared with the corresponding period of 2014.
