Limassol Boat Show was a resounding success

The Limassol Boat Show 2017 concluded for another year with a record attendance and sales with over 20,000 people from various countries visiting the show over three days.

Aristos Aristidou, the organising company’s director, expressed his delight in the results, saying: “we are so pleased to have brought to fruition the largest Boat Show to have ever been organised in Cyprus”.

Visitors included prominent figures, who included President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades. “Many congratulations to the organisers. I really wasn’t expecting to witness an eventof this scale. It is very impressive,” said Anastasiades.

The Limassol Mayor Nicos Nicolaides also shared his enthusiasm for the Boat Show during its opening ceremony, hailing its evolution. “It is a success story; the organisers’ vision 10 years ago has become a reality.”

The Limassol Boat Show is considered a jewel for Limassol Marina, the city of Limassol and Cyprus. “I am positive that it will continue to grow with success. Our city has so much to benefit from this event,” added Nicolaides.


A boating showcase

At the Boat Show, visitors were able to find boating accessories from a single hook to a yacht worth more than €2 million.

Exhibitors held demonstrations of services and presented products from the fields of yachting, boating, water sports, recreational fishing, yachts gadgets and exclusive cars.

A range of business ventures and collaborations, as well as hundreds of transactions were noted among the 100 exhibitors who participated.

The representatives of the largest and most established shipyards attending the show, along with their local distributors, also expressed their satisfaction in the event.

This air of anticipation and momentum has raised the bar for the next show to be held on May4-6, 2018. Planning is already underway with the promise of an even more impressive and successful Limassol Boat Show.
