Limassol and St. Petersburg seek to enhance cooperation

Limassol and Saint Petersburg seek to further enhance their cooperation in mutual investments, research programs, exchange of students, tourism, cultural exchanges and other fields.

To this end, a Cypriot delegation comprising members of the Limassol Municipality, the Cyprus University of Technology and the Ministries of Commerce and Communications, visited last week the Russian city, where they held a series of meetings. 



The two sides wish to enhance mutual investments, research programs, exchange of students, tourism, cultural exchanges and other fields.

On Thursday, the Mayor of Limassol Andreas Christou held a meeting with the President of the House Committee of Education of Saint Petersburg, with whom he discussed the details for the exchange programs of students, as well as for the hospitality in Limassol of children from orphanages from St. Petersburg.
