Inflation dropped by 2.4% in July 2015, compared with a drop of 2.1% in June 2015, according to figures from the statistical service Cystat.
In July 2014 inflation increased at a rate of 0.9%.
Based on the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices, the drop in July 2015 for housing, water, electricity and gas was 9.2% compared with the same month last year, while inflation on food and non-alcoholic beverages declined by 5.1%. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, however, saw a rise of 1.9%.
Inflation decreased by 2.4% for clothing and footwear, by 2.2% for transport and by 1.8% for recreation and culture.
