The number of registered unemployed fell in May 2017 an annual 12% and a monthly 8.8% to 29,922, and for the first time below the 30,000 since October 2011, the statistical service said.
The number of unemployed dropped 1.8% in May compared to April – or an annual 11% — to a seasonally adjusted 34,281, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.
The drop in the number of jobless last month was mainly on a 1,299 decrease of unemployed in public administration, 1,238 in construction, 636 in trade, 518 in manufacturing and 190 in transport, Cystat said.
