The choice ofCUT graduate civil engineer Christodoulos Christodoulou for the scholarship was a “strong indication” of the recognition afforded CUT’s high academic level, the Cypriot university said. CUT highlighted that the scholarship awards were decided through a competitive evaluation process.
Apart from Noble Energy, which operates block 12 in Cyprus’ exclusive economic zone along with Israel’s Delek, the Cyprus Republic has also signed contracts with the Italian/South Korean consortium ENI/KOGAS for hydrocarbons exploration in blocks 2, 3 and 9, as well as with French TOTAL for blocks 10 and 11.
