Industrial turnover index in Cyprus was down by 6.4% in the first eight months of this year compared to the same period in 2013, according to data released by the Statistical Service.
The index for August was 76.1 units (base 2010=100), recording a slight drop of 0.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In manufacturing the index for August 2014 reached 65.2 units, up 1.2% compared to August 2013.
