Industrial Turnover Index decreases in June 2014

The Industrial Turnover Index decreased by 2% in June 2014 compared with a year earlier, while in manufacturing the index increased by 1.2%, the Statistical Service said recently.

In June 2014 the index reached 80,7 units (base 2010=100), recording a decrease of 2% compared to June 2013. For the period January – June 2014 the index showed a decrease of 8.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In manufacturing, the index reached 76,1 units in June 2014, recording an increase of 1.2% compared to the same month last year.
