The industrial production index rose by 8.4% between January and November 2016, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the Statistical Service said recently.
In November, the Index reached 78.0 units (base 2010=100), recording an increase of 7.2% compared to November 2015.
In manufacturing, the Index reached 77.5 units in the eleventh month of 2016, recording an increase of 5.0% compared to November 2015.
