Industrial Production Index decreases 3% in Jan-May 2014

A drop of 3.0% was recorded during January-May 2014 in the Industrial Production Index, compared to the respective period in 2013.

According to the Statistical Service, the Index of Industrial Production for May 2014 reached 75.3 units (base 2010=100), recording a decrease of 0.7% compared to May 2013.

For Manufacturing, the index for May 2014 reached 75.4 units, recording a decrease of 2.1% compared to May 2013.
