Industrial production in June 2017 rose to the highest level of the past 10 months according to data released recently by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
The Index of Industrial Production for June 2017 reached 90.2 units (base 2010=100), recording an increase of 0.6% compared to June 2016. This is the highest level since August 2016 and the most productive June since 2013.
For the period January–June 2017, the index showed an increase of 5.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
For Manufacturing, the index for June 2017 reached 90.8 units, recording an increase of 4.7% compared to June 2016.
