House prices dropped in Cyprus by -0.6% during the last quarter of 2015 compared to the same quarter of 2014 and by -4.7% compared to the previous quarter, as measured by the House Price Index, published today by the European Union's Statistical service, Eurostat.
At the same time house prices rose by 2.9% in the euro area and by 3.8% in the EU in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
Compared with the third quarter of 2015, house prices remained stable in the euro area and rose by 0.2% in the EU in the fourth quarter of 2015.
