Hellenic Bank announced recently that Marinos S Yannopoulos is its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Yannopoulos has many years of experience in the banking sector. During the last 35 years he served, inter alia, in various managerial positions of Chase Manhattan in New York, Milan and Frankfurt, as General Manager of the Ionian Bank and as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Alpha Bank.
Yannopoulos has resigned from his position as a Vice Chairman but remains an executive member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Group.
Former CEO Makis Keravnos has stepped down on September 1 in a decision taken after “mutual decision and consensus”, according to the Bank.
