The Cyprus harmonised consumer price index rose 0.9% in May 2017, compared to the respective month of 2016, and 0.1% compared to the month before, the statistical service said.
In January to May, the harmonised consumer price index rose an annual 1.3% compared to the respective period of 2016, Cystat said.
Energy prices rose an annual 12% in May, while those for services rose 0.8%, Cystat said. Non-energy industrial products became 1.4% more affordable while prices of food, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco, dropped marginally.
