The evening was organized in honour of travel agents co-operating with the airline and media representatives. The Minister of Communications and Works Marios Demetriades also attended the event and through a short greeting he praised the significant presence and the important role that Gulf Air has played in the Cyprus market since 1976.
Short speeches were also given by the sales manager of Gulf Air Mr. Saad Alqinni and the CEO of Orthodoxou Aviation Ltd, Mr. Anthonis Orthodoxou.
The airline awarded 9 companies/offices in total, in three different categories as follows:
Marine: 1st place Ionika Travel, 2nd place Amathus Travel, 3rd place Eurasia
Trade: 1st place Orthodoxou Travel & Tours, 2nd place Fivos Travel, 3rd place Tradewings
Highest Increase: 1st place Hull Blyth Araouzos, 2nd place Skevi Travel, 3rd place Holiday Tours.
The evening included a raffle where the lucky winner was offered 2 business class tickets on Gulf Air, while attendees enjoyed at the end of the evening, a live performance by the band 'The Scrordions'.
