MotionBusCards will be given free to all social services card holders and recipients of low retirement subsidy, the ministry of transport said on Friday.
The MotionBusCard provides 50% off on tickets for regular bus lines.
Those seeking a MotionBusCard must identify themselves by presenting their Ministry of Labour beneficiary card or a letter from the welfare services indicating their receipt of a low retirement subsidy or their social services card at passport/id points of sale/issue.
The €5 issuing fee is waived until 30 June 2022.
