EY is actively supporting Cypriot startups during the COVID-19 crisis

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government measures implemented to address it, had a drastic impact on the global economy. As a result, businesses are facing new challenges in a destabilizing environment.

The effects of the crisis might have a greater impact on startups and scale-ups - but also on small businesses in general - due to their size and limited resources. Business owners and entrepreneurs now have to deal with an increasing number of issues, including cash flow, operating costs, financing, and the impact of possible support measures on their financial position and performance.

Amidst this unprecedented global economic crisis, EY remains committed to creating a better working world and as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting young entrepreneurship and small and scale-up businesses, announces free access, also for Cyprus, to its online tool EY Finance Navigator for a period of three months. The aim is to support Cypriot enterprises to tackle the challenges caused by the pandemic, by giving them the tools necessary to calculate the impact of the crisis on their financial figures, to locate and identify their financial needs and to measure the impact on their profitability.
